Listening is a skill we never quite perfect. So many things can get in the way of truly hearing what someone is saying to us – our emotions, our busyness, and even lack of sleep. Yet listening is the most valuable skill we bring to any conversation.

Whether enjoying the company of one close friend, interacting with a customer, or attending a meeting, we want to ignite all our listening skills consistently. In doing so we learn more, create clarity for ourselves and others and, more importantly, support and establish stronger relationships. I guess this is why I’ve written so much about listening!
